Girls' Generation (SNSD) Hyoyeon participated in a spelling battle and unfortunately ended up getting embarrassed.

On the July 21st broadcast of "Invincible Youth 2," Hyoyeon had a spelling battle with an elementary student. On this week's episode, Hyoyeon and the cast members tried out an Invincible Youth Guest House concept and invited public guests to create special memories.

On this day, MC Boom gave both Hyoyeon and the elementary school boy whiteboards in which they were asked to write down the phrase 'chased after'. The elementary student used proper Korean spelling rules and wrote down the correct form of 'chased after', with his dad's help, while Hyoyeon unfortunately wrote an incorrect version. The version Hyoyeon used was used in the Korean language pre-1988 era.

Hyoyeon explained cutely, "I guess I got a zero. I wrote that phrase the old way, because the 'Invincible Youth 2′ house mom, Lee Young Ja, always wrote it that way. Lee Young Ja hilariously joked "I didn't graduate from elementary school" giving off a fun and humorous environment.

Because of Hyoyeon's cute mistake, the elementary school boy rewarded a brand new toy as the game winning prize.
