LeBron James Sheds 10 Pounds Through His Diet Plan: Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Player Copies Kobe Bryant, Tries Juice Detox, Holds Himself Accountable On Instagram

LeBron James copied Kobe Bryant by going on an intense diet that made him shed 10 pounds. The NBA player tried juice detox, ate lots of lean protein and veggies and even rejected free cake! To make his diet a success, he held himself accountable on Instagram, uploading photos of what he ate.

"I had no sugars, no dairy, I had no carbs. All I ate was meat, fish, veggies and fruit. That's it. For 67 straight days," said LeBron James to Sports Illustrated.

According to Oregonian, his diet plan was also inspired by the fact that he wanted to "test his mental fortitude.”

He also said that he had "lost a ton of weight", so much weight that he's now trying to put back on a few pounds.

Check out LeBron James knocking himself out on all the juicing products:

The 29-year-old NBA player wrote, “My home away from home @thejuicespot trio! Detox & replenish before I order my bowl! Doesn't get any better! #ItsALifestyle #StriveForGreatness.”

Yep, juice diet will get you to greatness.

When it comes to salads, he decided to go for flavorful instead of calories-full.

He wrote, “Lunch is served. Arugula salad with chicken, strawberries, mango, cashews and olive oil/lemon vinaigrette dressing. Bowl of squash and zucchini and glass of H2P #YummyInMyTummy.”

LeBron even rejected yummy free cake he got as a welcome gift from a Greek hotel! Now that’s what you call a mental fortitude.

He captioned this Instagram photo, “Thank you #Nammos Mykonos for the dessert gesture. To dang on bad I can't eat it! Grrrrrrrrrr!! Smh. #ButIWantItThough #AlmostAtTheFinishLine.”

Looks like all the salads and juice detox word for Cleveland Cavaliers player!

The rumors are that LeBron James was inspired by “Kobe [Bryant] successfully extended his career by losing weight as he entered his mid-30s,” according to Business Insider.

LeBron will cut a slim figure on the basketball courts now!
