On the Japan official homepage, there was a post that read, "We are sorry to hear that because of Hwayoung's lack of professionalism, many fans, officials and the entertainment companies were affected. They are also a girl group that performs not only in Korea but also in Japan and we do not find this sort of action acceptable."

On the other hand, Core Contents Media commented, "We have released Hwayoung from the group with a 'free contract' standing in order to create a bright future for T-ARA. The bullying rumors are not true."
