Cross Gene To Represent Korea At The Skechers Sundown Festival 2014

Skechers Sundown Festival announces four more breakthrough artists to this year's festival, adding on to the nine other artists announced last week. The new additions are WEAVER (Japan), CROSS GENE (Korea), Olivia Ong (Singapore) and Shila Amzah (Malaysia).

"Each year is exciting for us as we hunt and scout some of the best Asian talents with the X-factor, and embodies the breakthrough in music," says Kelvin Goh, founder of Sundown Festival and Red Spade Entertainment who has seen bands such as BTOB and Teen Top gaining more recognition outside of their home countries after performing at Sundown Festival.

"This year, we're especially elated to have WEAVER and CROSS GENE," said Goh. "WEAVER is a sensational Japanese piano rock band while CROSS GENE is a K-Pop band is made up of six boys from Korea, Japan and China background. K-Pop fans must lookout for CROSS GENE - they're going to be huge!"

Shila Amzah who sky-rocketed to fame when she competed in China's popular reality singing contest "I AM SINGER" will be representing Malaysia. A singer and musician, she sings in English and Mandarin and has recently launched her first EP and concert.

Singaporean songbird Olivia Ong who will be returning home, having lived overseas for the last 10 years, will also be performing at the festival together with Jeremy Teng and ShiGGa Shay, representing Singapore.

Skechers Sundown Festival, the biggest Asian music festival bringing the best mix of Asian artistes from 11 countries onto one singular platform to celebrate and unite musicians and fans will be held at the F1 Pit Building with acts performing from 4pm onwards on 22 November.
