"Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers and news reveal that director Elizabeth Banks' goal for the sequel is just to make a good movie, as cast Alexis Knapp figured in a fire accident.

"The only reason ever to make a sequel is to spend more time with the characters that people love, to tell more of their story," she told Yahoo Movies. "And I love the Barden Bellas."

She also offered more "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers and news when she said that Pentatonix, Penn Masala and Filharmonic, all acapella groups, will be making cameos in the sequel.

"They do all their own singing and dancing. It's all about authenticity in the acapella world. We really want to honor that and honor the people who are really doing it out there who we're inspired by when we make the movie," she added.

However, the first time director declined to reveal some "Pitch Perfect 2 spoilers regarding Beca and Jesse's relationship.

"I won't say anything about that relationship, but the girls are now graduating seniors," the "Walk of Shame" star said. "They're coming to the end of their time as Bellas and figuring out how to sort of leave the next and the comfort of each other's friendship and figure out what they're going to do with the rest of their lives."

In a related report, "Pitch Perfect 2" cast Alexis Knapp was involved in a fire accident when she left her candle still burning when she stepped out of her condo, TMZ said.

"Pitch Perfect 2" cast Alexis Knapp, who has a daughter with Ryan Phillippe, reportedly left her unit but forgot to snuff the candle, after which "it caught something on fire which ignited the blaze that engulfed the entire building," the investigator of the LA Fire Department told the website.

The building has been deemed unsafe for occupation after 30 firetrucks and 75 firefighters rushed to control the blaze.
