After the announcement that Jessica will no longer be a member of SM Entertainment's mega-girl group Girls' Generation, Korean media outlets are reporting a wedding is in the works for the singer this coming spring.

Sports Dong-Ah is reporting that former Girls' Generation member Jessica will be getting married in May. Jessica has been linked to Tyler Kwon multiple times, but SM Entertainment never confirmed their relationship.

Industry insiders reportedly revealed that wedding preparations are already underway, and that the two are planning on getting married in Hong Kong. The reports claim the couple will then split their time between Hong Kong and New York.

The report also says that Jessica, who recently launched her own clothing brand, will be studying fashion design in New York.

On September 30, Jessica posted a message to her Weibo account explaining that she was being kicked out of Girls' Generation. At first, many believed it to be an elaborate hacking, due to the fact that all nine members of the group had recently re-signed their contracts with SM Entertainment.

However, later that day, SM Entertainment confirmed Jessica's departure from the nine-member girl group.

The company explained that Jessica had approached SM, saying that, due to personal reasons, she would be staying with the group only until spring.

A May wedding would align with Jessica's desire to leave the group this coming spring.
