M.I.B And 4Ten To Headline Chuseok Festival In New York

Fall is officially here, and at this time of year it is customary to celebrate the harvest and give thanks.  While Korean Thanksgiving (Chuseok) may have already passed, in New York City, the celebrations continue.

Next weekend marks the annual Chuseok Festival in Flushing, a New York City neighborhood with a large Korean population.  The festival will feature performances by several musical acts from Korea.

This year, Jungle Entertainment's groups M.I.B and 4Ten will be headlining the Chuseok Festival alongside power balladeer Shin Yong Jae of 4Men. Besides the pop and ballad artists, there will also be trot and folk singers present.

And what's Chuseok without food? Just like past festivals, there will be tasting booths where attendees can try and buy traditional snacks, street food, and Korean delicacies.

The same can also be said with merchandise - from traditional clothing to entertainment, the Chuseok Festival will give participants a taste of Korean culture and a glimpse at how Thanksgiving is celebrated in South Korea.

The Chuseok festival will take place at Flushing Meadows Park on Sunday, October 12, 2014. It is an all day event, rain or shine, and seating is first come, first serve.
