Remaining Girls' Generation Members Open Up To The Fans About Jessica's Departure [VIDEO]

The remaining members of Girls' Generation have broken their brief silence and begun discussing the departure of band member Jessica Jung earlier this week with their fans.

Girls' Generation appeared at a fan meeting in Shenzhen, China on Tuesday. And the three band members who comprise the band side project known as Girls' Generation-TTS (also called TaeTiSeo) also greeted fans at a Seoul department store the next day. In both cases, members of the group shared their feelings about Jessica's sudden departure and responded to fans heartbroken by the news.

From a video taken by fan at the Shenzhen event, entitled 2014 Girls' Generation First Fan Party event in, observers can see band member Seohyun crying during their final song, "Complete."

"Sunny was about to cry," observered babyprincess3121 on YouTube. "I hope they can resolve this amongst themselves. It feels incomplete."

"SM Entertainment should arrange a goodbye performance with Jessica and the other either members as a sign of respect to the fans," commented artcasperos on October 2. "They shouldn't do it like this. Even if they don't like being with each other, they should end things on a good show."

Girls' Generation leader Taeyeon reportedly not only shed tears along with remaining bandmates Tiffany and Seohyun, but also apologized to fans for the recent news.

"We had no other thoughts than to protect Girls' Generation from the beginning," said Taeyeon according to the website allkpop. "We're sorry…please trust us once more."

According to a statement released through Jessica's fashion company, BLANC, the singer was forced out of Girls' Generation by the other members as well as SM Entertainment due to the launch of her fashion business venture.

"Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC,' I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well. However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason."

"I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by [SM Entertainment] and my fellow members, who I've spent 15 years with, putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation, just because I'm starting a business. I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and loving me."
