Singing Competition Sensation, Jeremy Teng To Represent Singapore At Skechers Sundown Festival [Exclusive Interview]

Twenty-year-old Singaporean singing competition sensation, Jeremy Teng, who has recently gathered much attention for his participation in the audition for a highly acclaimed singing competition show in China, "The Voice of China Season 3," will be performing at Skechers Sundown Festival on November 22 at the F1 Pit Building.

Since he was 14, he has been uploading his covers of English, Mandarin and Japanese songs on YouTube. At 15, he joined "Campus Superstar 2009" and was among the Top 10. He emerged champion in the "2012 Japanese Song Contest" organised by the Japanese Cultural Society of Singapore and "SAFRA The Ultimate Voice 2014".

Early this year, his Japanese covers on YouTube scored him an opportunity to participate on a prestigious singing contest in Japan known as "Nodojiman The World" and ultimately became the first Asian to win the contest. Following which, he was invited to Taiwan's popular reality TV singing contest, "Super Idol", where he won great support from both judges and audience and topped six contestants.

KpopStarz team caught up with Jeremy Teng for an exclusive interview during Skechers Sundown Festival Media Briefing where he expressed his excitement to participate in Skechers Sundown Festival . He also shared about his challenges, his music and his upcoming plans.

Through the interview, he certainly revealed his passion and determination to pursue his dream to be a singer. Despite the criticism he received, Jeremy is keeping positive and building on what is constructive for his dream.
