After only 2 episodes, "Haeundae Lovers" jump started its story as they portrayed the two leads, Kim Kang Woo and Jo Yeo Jung living together under one roof.

On the August 7th episode of the KBS Mon/Tues drama, Tae Sung (Kim Kang Woo) mistakenly believes that So Ra (Jo Yeo Jung) is involved with a drug dealer and goes into the motel nearby, where So Ra is also staying. He keeps an eye on So Ra as a solo undercover cop and pretends to be a strength performer, having to perform all kinds of tricks that he's not capable of in front of others. 

Having run into each other at a nightclub before, So Ra believes that he is chasing her because he fell in love with her at first sight and she tells him that he shouldn't do that because she is about to get married. The love story seems poised to take full effect with the joining of the Haeundae hotel's vice president, Jun Hyuk (Jung Seok Won).
