Stephen Collins Cut From ‘Scandal’ After Accusations Of Child Molestation

Stephen Collins has reportedly lost another job.

The former "7th Heaven" actor, who allegedly admitted to allegations of child molestation on a tape leaked by TMZ, has been removed from an upcoming episode of ABC's "Scandal."

"We can confirm that we will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins," a rep for ABC told E! News.

Collins was scheduled to appear in season four of the Shonda Rhimes series. This would have marked Collins' second appearance on the show. In 2012, he guest starred as Reed Wallace in an episode entitled, "Happy Birthday, Mr. President."

The actor revealed that he was set to return to the show in a Twitter post.

"Happy to say I did another episode of #Scandal. Had a gr8 time. Wish I could say more but @ShondaRhimes would have to kill me," Collins tweeted in late September.

Since news of the actor's child molestation scandal broke, networks have stopped airing reruns of "7th Heaven," in which he played family patriarch Reverend Eric Camden for eleven seasons.

"As a top family-friendly network, we are deeply concerned for the families that are potentially affected by these disturbing allegations surrounding actor Stephen Collins," UP TV President Charley Humbard said. "7th Heaven has been a beloved family show and a fan-favorite on our network. We have made the decision to remove the series from our schedule effective at 5 p.m. ET today."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Collins has also been fired from "Ted 2," which is currently filming. There has been no official comment about the firing, however, from the film's representatives.

Collins also resigned from the SAG-Aftra board.
