Shonda Rhimes has no time for 'nasty people' in her life these days. She's too busy ruling primetime television.

The "Greys Anatomy" and "Scandal" creator recently discussed the New York Times review of her new series "How to Get Away With Murder," in which the writer brazenly called her an "angry black woman."

And after addressing that episode, Rhimes revealed that she has set out to make her life Katherine Heigl-free.

"Some really amazing articles were written that had the conversation that I've been trying to have for a very long time, which, coming from me, makes me sound like I'm just, 'Rrrraw!'" Rhimes told the Hollywood Reporter, regarding the NYT review.

The writer of the article, TV critic Alessandra Stanley, began her piece with the infuriating phrase, "When Shonda Rhimes writes her autobiography, it should be called 'How to Get Away With Being an Angry Black Woman.' "

Further addressing the situation, Rhimes said, "In this world in which we all feel we're so full of gender equality and we're a postracial [society] and Obama is president, it's a very good reminder to see the casual racial bias and odd misogyny from a woman written in a paper that we all think of as being so liberal."

As for the current state of Shondaland, Rhimes' production company which creates her wildly successful ABC primetime dramas, the showrunner says that she focuses on work by maintaining a "no a--holes" policy. There are no Heigls in this situation."

Rhimes was referencing the fractured relationship with actress Katherine Heigl, who rejected an Emmy nomination in 2008 after saying that she hadn't been given material "to warrant an Emmy nomination."

"I don't put up with bulls-t or nasty people. I don't have time for it," said Rhimes.

She certainly doesn't. With three of her shows running back to back on ABC's Thursday night line-up, Rhimes is definitely a busy woman.
