After the conflict surrounding Jessica Jung leaving popular female group Girls' Generation, Sooyoung was the first group member to publicly share her thoughts on the matter.

News revealed last week that Jessica had been pushed out of the group by her Girls' Generation group mates and their label SM Entertainment due to clashes about Jessica's new fashion design company came as a shock to many fans around the world. And as Sooyoung revealed on the October 8th episode of 'One Night of TV Entertainment,' she is also feeling lost and upset regarding the matter.

During the show, Sooyoung broke out of her shell and talked about how she personally felt regarding the news of Jessica leaving the group.

"I'm distressed and apologetic to have to suddenly relay this news," Sooyoung said.  MC Yoon Do Hyun responded, "Your heart must be heavy, but I hope your members use this time to gather together and turn a misfortune into a blessing."

The Girls' Generation member replied, "I'll work even harder for the people who are cheering on Girls' Generation. I apologize."

Sooyoung is currently appearing in the television drama 'My Spring Day.'
