Some of you may remember that "Transformers" actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested this past June due to an outburst in a Broadway theater - CNN reports that LaBeouf was led away in handcuffs from a showing of "Cabaret" at New York's Studio 54. He was described as being drunk and disruptive. This past Monday, LaBeouf explored the details of that drunken night in depth in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.
According to CNN, the events of the night went down like this: a police officer escorted LaBeouf out of the theater after he yelled, "F--- you. This is f----ing bull----. Do you know my life? Do you know who the f--- I am? Do you know who I am?" Some bystanders thought LaBeouf's outburst was an act. A woman recalled, "He was brilliant... I thought he was working on a role or something."
LaBeouf remembers his night a little differently. According to ABC News, going to the show was a last minute decision for LaBeouf after a dancer in the show offered him tickets following an afternoon of drinking while watching the World Cup. LaBeouf recalled, "He says, 'Hey, what are you doing tonight?' I was like, 'Well, I'm looking to turn it up a bit! I'm trying to have a good night here...I just got to New York. I'm trying to have a good time!'"
And that's only the beginning. Mediaite reports that LaBeouf had been drinking a ton of whiskey in a sports bar before running into a homeless man. When the homeless man tried to get away, LaBeouf chased after him. And then he grabbed Allen Cumming's butt. LaBeouf stated, "It could've been Allen Iverson at this point, I didn't know who it was... He walks past me, and I give him a slap on the ass because I think he deserves it and he's seducing me. He's the sexiest man I've ever seen!"
Needless to say, it seems LaBeouf won't be seeing a Broadway show anytime soon. He stated, "I'm checking [my drinking]...[And] I'm gonna stay from Broadway for a little bit."
