'M! Countdown' Highlights: Roy Kim Beats Ailee And Wins #1 On The October 16, 2014 Episode + Performance Recaps

Another week of 'M! Countdown' is here and featured performances from some of your favorite K-Pop idols.

The stars who made their comeback were VIXX with "Error," The Boss said "Rilla Go," SECRET member Song Ji Eun is gorgeous at "25" for her comeback, Crayon Pop's sub-unit Strawberrry Milk made their debut with "OK," UNIQ are "Falling In Love" for their debut, CIPHER made their debut with "Show Me What U Got," and Bernard Park made his debut with "Before The Rain."

Your nominees for the night were Ailee and Roy Kim as they battled for the first place trophy. The winner for the October 16th episode was Roy Kim for his single titled, "Home." Congratulations to Roy Kim!

All this being said, here are the performance recaps from yesterday.

Performance Recaps


VIXX made their hot comeback on 'M! Countdown' yesterday. The guys performed two of their singles along with an introduction to wow the audience.

For their first performance, VIXX started slow and sang their single titled, "Blue Blossom." Here the guys wore outfits that is perfect for the autumn season.

Then the guys moved to their main single titled, "Error." Before performing, the guys needed to wake up their "Steel Hearts"; which was their introduction. "Error" is their new comeback single. The guys do a great job of moving like robots. The audience definitely loved their comeback performance.

Song Ji Eun

SECRET member Song Ji Eun made her solo comeback as she performed two of her singles yesterday. For her first performance, Ji Eun said, "Don't Look At Me Like That."

She sang a snippet of what the single is about; which is to not look at her in a certain way. Ji Eun will tell you the way she wants to be looked at. Then she performed her main single titled, "Twenty-Five."

The message of this song is that she is pretty at the age of 25. Her new single is upbeat; which the audience liked. She performed great on the first day of performance.

Strawberry Milk

Crayon Pop's sub-unit Strawberry Milk made their debut and said "OK." Strawberry Milk consist of the twin members Choa and Way.

The song is cute and bright. While it was only their debut performance, the two received lots of male fan chants yesterday. Choa and Way wore a colorful strawberry outfit. What is your opinion regarding their single? Catchy?


The wait is finally over, new male group UNIQ made their debut on 'M! Countdown' yesterday. The group is comprised of members Wen Han, Zhou Yi Xuan, Yi Bo, Sung Joo, Seung Youn.

The guys cannot describe a feeling in their heart as they just want to scream and say that they are "Falling In Love." Their performance was good; which they are off to a great start for promotions. The audience enjoyed listening to them repeat that they are in love.

The guys has great vocals and can charm the women. What is your opinion regarding this new male group? Does JJCC have an opponent?

The Boss

The Boss made their comeback and performed like animals. The guys performed their new single titled, "Rilla Go."

Their new song is upbeat; which the guys performed with lots of energy. Their outfits were colorful. Hopefully, the group will get more exposure with this new single.

Bernard Park

Bernard Park made his hot debut and performed his single titled, "Before The Rain." The song is sweet; which the audience can hear how great his voice is.

Bernard received many love from the audience as they screamed and clapped while he was performing. Are you a fan of Bernard's song?

Red Velvet

SM Entertainment's new female group Red Velvet did a great job of entertaining the audience again yesterday. Seulgi, Irene, Wendy, and Joy does not perform like rookies.

They perform like experts who has been dancing for a long time. Red Velvet performed S.E.S's single titled, "Be Natural." They wore a zebra striped blouse and black pants for their performance. "Be Natural" ranks number eleven for this week.


Ailee had another flawless performance as she sang her hit single titled, "Don't Touch Me." She wore a nice red and black colored outfit. The chains are not needed for her outfit.

Ailee did not win another trophy as she was up against Roy Kim. Though Ailee is battling hard and looking to win more trophies.


Hey ladies, BTOB has something to tell you. They will tell you that "You're So Fly." The guys performed their hip hop song on 'M! Countdown' yesterday.

The members wore white colored outfits for their performance. Their single ranks number seven this week. The guys performed with lots of energy and entertained the audience.


Boyfriend performed their new single titled, "Witch" yesterday. The guys wore gold colored suits for their performance. Boyfriend are going to make your body go boom as they disappear and appear from behind the curtains.

The guys are doing a great job because their single ranks number thirteen. Are you loving Boyfriend's Halloween concept song?


Solo vocalist Younha sang her new single titled, "Wasted." She wore a nice dress for her performance yesterday.

The message of her song is about a woman who faces a break up. Younha has a beautiful voice; which is perfect for this type of music. What is your opinion regarding Younha's new ballad single?


You are going to be "Missing" TEEN TOP because the guys are saying their goodbyes this week.

The guys wore shiny blue colored suits for their performance yesterday. TEEN TOP's single ranks number four this week.


WINNER who consist of members Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, Seungyoon, and Taehyun said, "Don't Flirt' on 'M! Countdown' yesterday. The guys wore dark solid colors for their performance.

WINNER's single ranks number eight on the 'M! Countdown' chart for this week. YG Entertainment is proud regarding how well the group is doing in terms of promotions.


Juniel performed her beautiful love song titled, "I Think I'm in Love." This time, her back up dancers were on the center of the stage. The dancers did a great job with the little space they had.

Juniel's single ranks number six this week. Do you think she will get nominated?

Roy Kim

Roy Kim performed his soft tempo single titled, "Home." His voice just flows very well with the sound of his new song.

Roy Kim did not expect to win as he was nominated against Ailee. But, he was happy to win his first trophy yesterday. He thanked his fans for all the love and support. Are you a fan of Roy Kim? If you are, give a shout out on how happy you are that Roy win his first trophy.


MINX asked "Why Did You Come to My House" as they did a great job of entertaining the audience yesterday. MINX wore black colored outfits for their performance.

The ladies are doing a great job in terms of promotions. They are gaining fans and climbing up on the ranking chart. MINX's single ranks number twenty-four this week.


CIPHER made their debut and said, "Show Me What U Got" on the October 16th episode of 'M! Countdown.'

The message of their song is about seeing a beautiful woman and telling her to show what she's got. The song has an electronic beat; which is good to play at the club. What is your opinion regarding CIPHER?

Fans Worry About IU's Health Condition After Seeing Photos On Instagram

X1, ‘Produce X 101’ Project Group, Hits Billboard’s Social 50 and Emerging Artist Charts

Even before their official debut arrives, 11-member K-pop group X1 is already making ripples in the scene! According to Billboard’s weekly charts dated August 13, the project boy band -- with members coming from the Mnet survival show-cum-talent search Produce X 101 -- has taken the No. 6 spot on the music magazine’s Social 50 chart.
