As news continue to flood in regarding the Pangyo Techno Valley Festival accident, YG Entertainment has decided to push back Epik High's comeback to show its condolences.

On October 17, YG Entertainment released a statement regarding the music video release of "Born Hater," the lead single off of Epik High's eighth studio album, "Shoebox."

"In light of the recent incident at the Techno Valley concert venue in Pangyo on October 17, YG Entertainment will be postponing the release of Epik High's music video for 'Born Hater' originally scheduled for October 18 at mightnight to show its sincerest condolences to all those affected," read the statement posted on the YG-Family website.

"We will be announcing the release of the video as it becomes determined."

"It's the proper thing to do," commented thedarkknight on allkpop. "Respect to YG and condolences to those who lost family/friends because of this event. I hope that the ones in the hospital make it."

On Friday, the ventilation grate near the concert stage at the Pangyo Techno Valley Festival gave way when a group of spectators rushed on top of it during K-pop girl group 4minute's performance, causing spectators to fall roughly 33 feet.

According to BBC News, 16 have been confirmed dead with 11 injured. Reportedly, most of the victims were men in their 30s and 40s, presumed to be employees from nearby office buildings as well as security guards coming to see the event after work.

Since the tragedy, 4minute's record label Cube Entertainment has released a statement addressing why the group continued to perform when the accident occurred.

"After 4minute's concert, the members and all the staff were not aware that the tragedy occurred and left the venue," said the statement according to allkpop. "It was only when they returned to Seoul that they heard the news about the accident. There is no way to express the sadness we feel. We hope that the incident today doesn't cause great damage to those who attended."
