Self-proclaimed 'momager' and matriarch Kris Jenner is dishing up recipes and family talk in her new book "In The Kitchen With Kris."

Promoting her new cookbook on the Today Show, Kris was agitated when the hosts asked her about Bruce Jenner's latest love interest. See her response below!

When Hoda Kotb asked Kris about the current Kardashian/Jenner family dynamic, the reality star got real about the break up and replied to many of post-split rumors along with rumors about Bruce being in the process of transitioning to a woman.

Regarding the reassignment rumors, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family said, "It's silly! [The tabloids have] been saying that since the '70s, so you think he'd be cooked by now. ... They just keep regurgitating the same old stuff."

When the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star was asked why there's no mention of her ex, Bruce in the book, she said, "Bruce and I were getting a divorce. I mean, he's a great guy, but I just did [the book] for the kids and the grandkids."

"You know, I think that at some point in your life, you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids, and I think that we decided to be grownups and we decided we're better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends," Kris said.

She further continued about why they split, "We decided we're just better apart than we are together. But we're still really good friends." As far as him dating her best friend is concerned, Kris said, "I don't know who he's dating. He doesn't check in with me and give me a play-by-play."

As for how she's doing now, she insisted, "I am so happy!"

Though Kris can be domineering as far as Bruce's lifestyle is concerned, she seems to be backing off big time.

Kris was seen enthusiastically participating in the show as she interacted with Jenna Bush Hager, the fill in anchor for the Todayshow in place of Hoda and Kathy. Kris remained nonvocal about her lovelife. However, Jenna reminded Kris that she could use a main man to make these main dishes for, she said, "You need a man to cook for . . .or a man to cook for you." Kris giggled and smiled anxiously when Jenna pointed this out to her.

Indeed it is time for Kris to dig into this new phase of her life.
