‘Avengers 2’ End Credits Will Already Tease Spider Man? Sony Needs Help In Their Universe And Marvel Wants The Wall-Crawler Back! Will It Work?

The talks between Sony and Marvel for Spider Man to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe have already been rumored but if the price is right, the deal can be fast-tracked. They may even be able to tease something by the time "Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits cinemas!

Film critic Drew McWeeny of HitFix tried to verify the latest "Avengers 2" spoilers. He said, "While I can't get the confirmations I need to verify the story, I'm hearing that there are some very cool Spider-Man plans being discussed that would help Sony refocus their enormously important franchise while also opening up some connections in the on screen Marvel movie universe that would blow fandom's minds."

McWeeny believes that a crossover movie is possible based on the information that he have gathered. He said, "What seems clear from what I've heard is that Marvel wants to be able to play with all of their characters, and if they can make that work creatively and on a corporate level, they will, and that means the world gets bigger again."

There were rumors of "Avengers 2" spoilers featuring Spider-Man and the Avengers in the after-credits scene to get you all excited. However, not everyone seems interested in seeing a crossover movie. A few months ago, film producers Avi Arad and Matthew Tolmach, who are known for producing "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", shared their thoughts regarding the rumors.

Arad told Total Film (via Comic Book Movie), "I for one don't see the value for us in it." He explained, "I think we're doing such a good job with the Spider-Man Universe. Spider-Man is arguably the number one character in the world. He shouldn't make a cameo."

He added, "If there was a natural alliance for some reason...I cannot talk for Sony." Tolmach explained further, "The practical side of it is, look, how many movies have we just talked about? It's all we can do to build that universe. We're not going beyond that."

If Sony bigwigs believe that a crossover may be the only way to save the franchise then the producers and the creative team will have to adjust.

Is this a good idea? Avengers with Spider Man-does that sound enticing?
