Dunga on his team: Now they know what the limits are

The internal code of conduct was published Thursday by the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. Folha de S. Paulo is Brazil's largest daily. The Brazilian football confederation agreed its existence during a news conference in which Dunga declared the squad for friendlies against Turkey and Austria in November.

Brazil players are being requested not to wear hats, earrings or flip-flops while representing the national football team under the command of coach Dunga.

It is also a no-no for mobile phones or tablets at certain times, and the team is also discouraged from engaging in religious or political discussions. They can no more or cannot express their political or religious beliefs while with the national team, and should always chant the national anthem before matches.

According to Folha, the guide also states the players are responsible for paying for additional costs during trips, including charges for phone calls and excess baggage.

The topic guide printed by Folha said players may be punished if they do not obey the guidelines. They could receive a warning or a fine or probably be released from the squad, according to the written.

"There are rules in any company, and even in our family there are conducts that are needed to maintain good harmony," Dunga said. "We are not prohibiting anything, there were rules already, and we are suggesting some things we thought were important. The players are responsible for their own acts and depending on what happens we will decide how we respond," he continued.

"I think fans demanded more organization in the national team," he added. "From what we've seen so far, the players liked what was presented to them, now they know what the limits are."

Brazil has conquered victory all four matches since Dunga's return, thrashing Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina and Japan.
