Big Bang Theft, Nothing to Do with Dokdo

Big Bang's Daesung and Seungri had their bags stolen, with their passports and their cash inside.

On the 15th, Big Bang's manager found the car broken into and reported it to the police. They confirmed that Daesung and Seungri's bags were taken.

Regarding the incident, the Japanese police said, "It has nothing to do with Dokdo."

On Saturday, according to Japanese press Sankei Sports, the Japanese police said, "The car that held the bags did belong to Big Bang's management company but there was no evidence that the car was owned by any Korean entity or someone that had anything to do with Big Bang." They concluded that it was just a random act of crime.

Sankei Sports went on, "Big Bang will appear according to plan at the 'a-nation' concert that is scheduled for the 26th. It may affect the solo activity for Seungri who will go on music programs and other variety programs that start in September. That's because according to the Korean embassy, it may take 2-3 weeks for them to reissue Seungri's passport."

YG Entertainment says, "There's not much to worry about. We're cooperating with the Japanese police investigation that's going on because we still haven't been able to find the passport."
