Psy's Future Plans Completely Altered After 'Gangnam Style'

Singer Psy is taking over the world with his comical and catchy song "Gangnam Style" and its dance moves. Psy's music is being referred to as a "viral movement" that is spreading globally in the speed of light.

Avex Entertainment, who will sponsor Psy for his Japanese promotion, announced through their official homepage that Psy will begin his official promotion in Japan on September 26. However, things are beginning to become unclear as Psy is receiving more and more attention internationally. Currently discussing things with representatives of Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepson, Psy's future plans appear to have a lot of changes ahead.

A representative of Psy revealed on August 19, "Psy was only planning on Japanese promotions but because of the unexpected global popularity of 'Gangnam Style' we expect that we will need to adjust our future plans in Korea as well as his plans of promoting internationally. When Psy returns from the United States, we will discuss the details and plan a new schedule."

As a result, Psy's Japanese promotion date will be postponed. Although Psy already made an official announcement regarding his promotional activities in Japan, he will need to wait on Japan to reach for a bigger dream. It appears as though Psy's future schedule will consist of various visits to numerous countries seeing as "Gangnam Style" has become famous everywhere.

Currently, Psy's "Gangnam Style" has maintained its number 1 spot on various music charts since the day of its release over a month ago.

It is very rare for a song to remain in the number 1 spot for over a month since music trends constantly change, not to mention new songs are released almost every day. Representatives from Justin Bieber contacted Psy to discuss the possibility of making a collaboration project.

On August 11, Psy performed in front of 30,000 fans at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium at his exclusive concert "The Wetter Show".
