Nicole Kidman Says She’d Do Anything For Husband Keith Urban After He ‘Carried’ Her Through Her Father’s Death

According to Nicole Kidman, her husband Keith Urban is her rock.

The 47-year-old actress recently told Ellen DeGeneres that her husband of eight years is not only dotting but also carried her through an extremely difficult period in her life earlier this year when her father unexpectedly passed away.

In the interview on the "Ellen Show," DeGeneres asked Kidman if her country music star hubby, who is constantly busy touring and appearing on "American Idol," really leaves her love notes whenever he leaves for work.

"I write him things too!" said Kidman. "He doesn't write them every single day. When we're apart, we do that, yeah. I have to say, I love saying this because he should be just adored."

The "Before I Go To Sleep" actress then went on to explain that her husband truly stood by her side in the wake of her father's tragic death in September, the result of an accidental fall.

"He has been so good to me, you know, for nine years, but for the last sort of month, which has been a really tough time for me, when you have your partner who just literally carries you through a tough time...and he's been amazing to me," said Kidman.

The Academy Award winner continued to share how just how heartbroken she was by her loss and how Keith helped keep her together.

"I recently lost my father and to have my husband...just step up, you know, in that way, it makes me cry," she said. "He's amazing. And literally, at times...to be literally carried by your partner, physically at times, because I was so devastated, it's just like, 'I'll do anything for that man.'"
