The situation is looking dire for Amanda Bynes once again. Early this month, it seemed the actress was finally getting the help she needed when she was placed in the hospital under a psychiatric hold. While it was reported at the time that the hold would last at least a month, and could be extended up to a year, doctors decided to release her early on Thursday in a somewhat puzzling move. Things have been going downhill fast as Bynes was spotted wandering around Sunset Strip exhibiting trouble behavior, and has taken back to Twitter – once again accusing her father of sexual abuse.

On Friday Bynes tweeted, “I am going to court today with my lawyer to prove that I am more than capable of handling my personal life and finances and I am enraged.” She continued that her parents had her hospitalized “because my dad is humiliated by what he’s done,” and that “the Police filed a police report against my dad… He is a sexual predator and he should be in jail.”

It is impossible to know if there is any truth to Bynes’ accusations, which she first lodged before she was hospitalized – but quickly recanted. Earlier this week, the troubled star’s parents regained conservatorship over her, due largely to the fact that she was blowing through her savings at a much higher rate than she was earning money. At the moment, it seems unlikely that she will be able to get her parents’ conservatorship lifted, as she says she is going to court to try to do.

TMZ reports that hospital staff released Bynes early after determining that they could no longer hold her involuntarily. While the actress is said to have been more coherent than when she entered and taking her medication as directed, her erratic behavior started back up soon after she was released. She was seen wandering around Sunset Strip, where she was rejected from several hotels at which she tried to stay the night.
