Even through many events such as dating rumors and member withdrawals, boy group EXO has been chosen as the best idol group of 2014 by other idol groups.

Joy News 24 held a surgery to celebrate their 10 year anniversary from October 16 to 26 and asked idol group members to choose who they thought was the best idol group of this year. A total of 79 idol groups members joined this survey.

Boy group EXO was given the honor of receiving the title of 'Best Idol Group of 2014' through this survey. The group received a total of 23 votes from the 79 idol group members that voted and proudly took first place.

At number 2, girl group SISTAR was chosen with 15 votes. SISTAR had received much attention this year with their songs, "Touch My Body" and "I Swear."

Number 3 was BEAST with 8 votes. They released their first ballad titled song, "12:30" and received a positive response.

MBLAQ and Girls' Generation tied for 6th place with 3 votes each.

For the Acting Idol Group member, ZE:A member Im Siwan took first place. With his roles in the movie, "Lawyer" and various dramas, he has received much recognition and praise for his great acting.

Receiving 27 votes, Im Siwan took first place with MBLAQ Lee Joon at number 2 with 15 votes.

EXO D.O was seen at number 3 with 5 points. D.O debuted into the acting scene with his role in the recent drama, "It's Okay, It's Love."

When asked which agency they would like to go to most, many idol groups chose to remain faithful to their current agency and chose the agency they were staying in now.

First place was their current agency with 29 voters. Number 2 was SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment with 14 votes each.
