K-pop idol group JYJ's Park Yoochun successfully wrapped up his fan meeting in Shanghai, China.

Yesterday (August 25), Park Yoochun attended the "2012 Park Yoochun Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Shanghai" at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in China.

Park Yoochun started off the event by performing the song "Empty Space You" from the MBC drama "Miss Ripley" then began to speak to his fans about his most current scheduled events. Park Yoochun interacted with his fans by reenacting his most famous lines along with his fans as well as personally calling a fan in the audience for a pop quiz. For a total of 2 hours, Park Yoochun spent time playing games and interacting with his fans.

Park Yoochun's agency, C-JeS Entertainment, commented, "The drama 'Rooftop Prince' was in the spotlight in China even before it began airing. This popularity began with 'SungKyunKwan Scandal'. We had an idea that there were fans in China but we never expected all of this. The beginning the tour was great so we expect the rest of the tour will be a great success."

Park Yoochun's popularity in China was clearly apparent from long ago. There are over 100,000 members in Park Yoochun's Chinese portal site. On the 24th, over 1,500 fans showed up at the airport to greet Park Yoochun's arrival in China and froze up the airport.

Park Yoochun stated, "I was very surprised and touched after seeing all the passionate fans welcoming me. I just simply worked harder but the fans have given me so much more than I deserve. Thank you all for coming to see me and I will repay all of your love by working even harder in the future."
