SBS reportedly has called off the special episode of Inkigayo after Chinese organizers failed to fulfill their contracts.

Only four days before SBS's Inkigayo in China was scheduled to film, thousands of K-Pop fans in Shenzhen are undoubtedly disappointed with the decision to cancel.

The music show special was set for November 8th at the Universiade Sports Stadium in Shenzhen, China.

However, on November 4th, a representative from the SBS broadcasting company explained the music show was ultimately canceled due to inadequate preparations.

"This week we were scheduled to hold the Chinese concert SBS Inkigayo’s 24th Anniversary Special in Changsha, but have cancelled it due to an emergency," the rep stated.  "The cancellation was inevitable due to the failure of the Chinese organizers to adequately prepare for the concert and fulfill their contract."  

"SBS would like to apologize to the local fans who love K-Pop," the rep added.

The music show was going to showcase great performances from K-Pop idols BEAST, CNBLUE, Girl’s Day, 2AM, SISTAR, Taeyang, EXO, TEEN TOP, and Shinhwa.
