Britney Spears has moved on from ex David Lucado.

After two months as a single woman, the pop superstar has reportedly found a new boyfriend. Spears is rumored to be dating Charlie Ebersol.

"They met through friends," a source told E! News of the alleged couple. "He is the sweetest guy ever and they are very much enjoying getting to know one another. They are both very happy and having fun. It's just the beginning so no idea if it will become serious but right now they are having a lot of fun together."

So who is Ebersol?

31-year-old Charlie is a TV producer and the son of "Saturday Night Live" co-creator Dick Ebersol.

In 2013, Charlie created the television show "The Moment," a reality series that helped people get a second chance at their dreams. The show was a particularly meaningful project for Ebersol, who nearly lost his life in a plane crash in 2004. Ebersol and his father were injured in the accident, which killed Charlie's younger brother Teddy.

Teddy discussed the tragedy on the "Today Show" in April 2013.

"When the plane crashed, I was so angry. I wasn't scared or sad...I was going to lose out on the opportunity to do all these things I loved that I wasn't doing," he explained.

In addition to Ebersol's admirable career in TV, the producer has also made news for his romantic relationships. He formerly dated Maria Sharapova and has been linked to actress Sophia Bush.

The pairing of Spears and Ebersol would mark an interesting turn in the pop star's dating life.

She broke up with Lucado in late August after allegedly discovering that he cheated on her via an incriminating video.

Prior to that relationship, the "Britney Jean" star had dated her former agent Jason Trawick for two and a half years. The couple eventually became engaged but ended their romance in 2013.

"Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement," Spears said in a statement to E! News. "I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."

Spears also has two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, from her former marriage to Kevin Federline.
