Apart from being the hunky Stefan Salvatore, "The Vampire Diaries" cast Paul Wesley can also take the role of a series director. Once again, the 32-year-old has exhibited his directorial skills for an upcoming episode of the hit CW series.

Phoebe Tonkin's boyfriend shared a photo of a script on Instagram. "Boasting. It's that time of year again," read the caption's photo.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Vampire Diaries" cast Paul Wesley will be directing an episode entitled "Woke Up with a Monster." The eleventh episode of the "Vampire Diaries" season 6 is expected to air in January 2015 following the series break.

Fans are left speculating about the "monster" in the said episode. As of now, Mystic Falls has two resident monsters - vampire hunter Tripp and witch Kai.
The "Vampire Diaries" cast Paul Wesley already wore the director's hat in the fifth season. In the 18^th episode entitled "Resident Evil," doppelgangers Stefan and Elena ended up together but only in their dreams.

In a previous interview with the same publication, Wesley talked about his passion for directing: "It's something I've always wanted to do every since I started acting."

"I've always really respected directors. As much as I was interested in acting, whenever I watched a film it was always the directing that really stood out to me," he added.

Meanwhile, there will be a reunion for best friends Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie. However, much to the disappointment of fans, such reunion will only happen in a form of flashback.

TV Guide reports that the trio will return to their high school days:"The scene will feature a big holiday gathering, and since we were on hand for the filming, we can promise an impressively festive set."
