Park Jin Young Reveals 2PM As The Company's Breadwinners, miss A Not Expected To Comeback Until Summer 2015

Male idol group 2PM earns the most profit for JYP Entertainment.

The CEO of JYP Entertainment, Park Jin Young, explained that 2PM's overseas activities led to the group making the most income abroad. Japan and China in particular are the places where 2PM's immense popularity is profitable.

During a press conference on November 4, where the CEO discussed several topics, Park Jin Young (JYP) addressed 2PM's place in the company.

2PM, a boy band with six members, is popular both in Korea and abroad. Along with promoting as a group, members act in dramas and movies, promote goods in commercials, act as public ambassadors, appear on variety shows, and are involved in music production. Several members have released solo songs.

2PM's profitability is in the lead, but another forerunner is girl group Miss A's member Suzy, who is incredibly active in South Korea. Even though she is popular but that her individual roles in commercials, films, and Korean dramas are not as profitable as 2PM's profits as a hole.

Park Jin Young also discussed Miss A's future plans. He said that, due to Suzy's involvement in a film, Miss A's next comeback will likely take place in the summer of 2015.

The four member girl group's last album, "Hush," was released in 2013. The individual members have been partaking in their own activities, including appearing in films, television shows, variety shows, and commercials. Member Fei, in particular,  gained popularity in 2014, with several variety show appearances.

JYP met with reporters to celebrate twenty years since debuting as a singer, and is holding a concert series to celebrate. The second concert, Milk Music Live Station, will be held on November 8 in Seoul, and several artists under the JYP label will perform.
