According to the official synopsis of "Prison Ball," Episode 6 of Season 2 (S02E06), "Following the death of a 10-year old girl the intelligence unit have one option to gain access to their suspect, go on the inside. Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) and Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) act as inmates to work the case from the inside. Outside prison, Voight (Jason Beghe) and Olinsky (Elias Koteas) follow-up on a good lead to answer some questions about the shooting. Meanwhile, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) show three boys around district thinking they are part of the Police Explorers program, only to realize that's not quite the case. Also starring Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Sophia Bush and Amy Morton. Eric LaRay Harvey, Chris Agos and Chris Allen guest star."

What happened last week on "Chicago PD?" Warning: Recap with spoilers coming your way!

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, "On the last episode, while trying to help out Olive (guest star Caroline Neff) Voight (Jason Beghe) was attacked and taken. When he doesn't show for work the team got suspicious and began investigating. Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) and Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) proved they do belong on the team when they demonstrated smarts and savvy tracking down a lead that would hopefully bring them to Voight. Meanwhile Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) are trying to track down a girl who had ran off with a police badge. Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Sophia Bush, Elias Koteas and Amy Morton also star."

According to CP Entertainment, "Things get a little bit intense for the people in "Chicago PD" Season 2 as the brave officers take the matters more personally into their hands by working undercover. In the next episode titled "Prison Ball," Officer Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) talks to Sergeant Voight (Jason Beghe) pleading the latter to allow him to take on the case on the murder of a 10-year-old girl. The deal is for him to get into prison and work the case from the inside. "Let me do this," Atwater told the superior intently. In the recently-released trailer, Sgt. Voight was also shown telling the officer, "No one can know you, understand?" suggesting he agreed on the plan. He then called someone on his phone, in what appears to be the warden of the prison, to arrange the "incarceration." Another teaser trailer revealed Atwater was joined by Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) in prison wearing the infamous orange inmate clothing. Atwater is then seen questioning another inmate, much to the annoyance of the other. The discussion escalated into a deadly quarrel with the convicted drawing a sharp object. Will the undercover officers get what they wanted in the inside? Will they survive the harsh environment they are into?"

On Wednesday's new episode (10/9c, NBC), Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) pose as inmates in a prison in order to investigate a suspect in the murder of a 10-year-old girl from the inside. However, when Antonio (Jon Seda) tells Ruzek that their investigation has hit a big snag in this exclusive sneak peek, Ruzek takes matters into his own hands and throws a mean left hook at Atwater. (It makes even more heartbreaking knowing that they're such good friends in real life!)"

What about the rumors about a "Chicago PD," "Chicago Fire," "Law & Order: SVU" crossover episode? When will this special show air?

Looks like its coming your way next week! CP Entertainment reports, "In other news, a major crossover is about to happen on NBC in November as "Chicago PD," "Chicago Fire" and "Law and Order: SVU" come together for a three-part crossover. According to E!Online, the TV event will start on "Chicago Fire" on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m., then continue on "Law and Order: SVU" on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m., and ends on "Chicago PD" the following hour. Fans will get to see members of the PD crew mingle with the SVU detectives, and then the SVU detectives travel to Chicago. The website reports that the storyline deals with a child pornography ring that goes all the way from Chicago to New York. TV Guide reports that Sophia Bush, Jesse Soffer and Jason Beghe will appear on SVU, while Mariska Hargitay, Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino will appear on "Chicago PD."
