2NE1 is no longer just a hit in South Korea, but all over the world. After a year-long search for the World's Best New Band, MTV Iggy has found 2NE1 to be, simply put, number 1.

Hailing all the way from South Korea, 2NE1 is scheduled to perform later today at the MTV Iggy New Band Concert in New York City's Times Square. Dara, CL, Minzy and Bom stated in an interview that they are so excited at having been crowned the "Best New Band in the World" for 2011 and are proud to represent Kpop and Korea.
