“America’s Next Top Model” (ANTM) aired the first episode of the Cycle 21 which was filmed in Seoul. Episode twelve, “The Guy Who Parties Too Hard,” provided the first introduction of the model’s activities in Korea. The Cycle 21 contestants who were selected to travel to Seoul were taught K-Pop dance by BtoB.

The seven contestants were led through the choreography of BtoB’s “Beep Beep” by group member Peniel (Shin Dong Geun).

The models were split into two groups for the competition. Adam and Keith joined Shei as part of Group One. Chantelle, Will, Lennox, and Raelia competed in Group Two.

All of the models were nervous about learning the complex choreography incorporated in K-Pop dance.

Two of the models, Lenox and Shei exhibited the best K-Pop style, which aided in their visual presentation. Shei rocked the split hair color of brown and blonde with an outfit which evoked the style of 2NE1, while Lenox donned cat-ears for the performance.

The contestants were challenged to embody the spirit of K-Pop in photos that were taken as the models danced before K-Pop fans, Yu Tsai, J.Alexandre, and the members of BtoB. BtoB’s music was prominently featured throughout the episode.

Lenox received the harshest criticism from the J. Alexander and Yu Tsai. J. Alexander wittingly stated, “That’s not K-Pop, it’s K-Fizzle” in response to her dancing. By contrast, J. Alexander stated that Keith looked “quite natural and sexy.”

Chantelle, Keith, and Raelia were chosen as the top three contestants selected from the challenge. Peniel provided commentary following the dances and told the contestants who were chosen as the winners why they were selected. Peniel stated that Chantelle was selected because the members of BtoB “all liked her dancing and thought she was a dancing machine.” Raelia was the final winner of the challenge.

"America's Next Top Model" will continue in Seoul with the November 14 episode.
