Robin Williams Death Autopsy: No Drugs And Alcohol Involved, ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ Actor Might Have Learned Suicide Technique From One Of His Films

Robin Williams death autopsy results have been released. While his death has been ruled a suicide, the coroner claimed that alcohol and illegal drugs were not present in his system. Prescriptive drugs, however, were found.

Robin Williams' death took place in August 11 after the actor used a belt and hung himself in between a closet door and bedroom door. That same month, the actor's wife, Susan Schneider said that the 63-year-old was in the early stages of Parkinson's.

The coroner's report also stated that Williams had "a recent increase in paranoia." Few days before he died, he reportedly placed several watches into a sock and handed them over to an unknown recipient because he's worried about the watches' safety.

Schneider also believes that Williams might have learned the suicide technique from his 2009 film entitled "World's Greatest Dad" where his character's son died because of autoertic asphyxiation.

Williams reportedly checked into rehab last June to maintain his sobriety. His prescription medications were in "therapeutic concentrations."

"Robin's sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinson's Disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly. It is our hope in the wake of Robin's tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid," shared Schneider following husband's death.

The "Mrs. Doubtfire" actor had three children - Zak, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22.
