Saturday marks another episode of the popular anime "Sword Art Online II" or "Sword Art Online" season two. This week's episode features fan favorite couple Kirito and Asuna taking a trip down memory lane as well as some exposition about the next story arc, which focuses on Asuna. Hulu and Crunchyroll simulcast the series today, but fans without subscriptions can find links to free episodes online below.

Synopsis:

This episode starts off with the usual group in full dive mode, but instead of fighting monsters, they're trying to finish homework that's due when they get back from winter break. Asuna in particular is finding it hard to concentrate because the study location holds many good memories for her and Kirito.

The episode flashes back to a date between Kirito and Asuna in a cafe. They talk to their old pal (insert character name) about a new Aincrad update that may allow Kirito and Asuna to repurchase their old cabin on Floor 22. After some quick fighting of the boss on Floor 22, Kirito and Asuna are able to buy their cabin again, and everything seems just like it was (minus the scary idea that they may not be able to return to the real world).

After getting in some study time, Lisbeth fills Asuna in on Kekkan and the ultimate sword. Apparently there's a player in the new Aincrad that boasts a special sword wielding skill that is unparalleled to anyone besides Kirito's dual wielding. No one can beat the guy in combat however, not even Kirito. Asuna decides to investigate and so a new story arc begins.
