2NE1 drew attention of 2,000 US fans and fans all over the world with passinate performance in Time Square.

2NE1 successfully made a debut on US stage on MTV IGGY '2011 Best New Band In The World Concert', which took place in Best Buy Theater in New York Time Square on December 12th 4pm.

2NE1 made to an honorable stage, where Modonna, Lady Gaga, Brintney Spears once performed, by winning the vote for the best band for the new generation conducted by fans all over the world. 

Fans, chanting for "2NE1" before the performance, congratulated 2NE1's debut in New York by yelling out a cheer as soon as intro of 'Fire' gets played.

Best Buy Theater suddenly turned into a NYC's hottest club as Powerful and Passionate 'Fire' and 'Can't Nobody' were performed.

Then, followed by 'Lonely' presenting attractive vocal sound, finished with 'I Am The Best', and said goodbye to New York fans who returned a roar of applause.

2NE1, After the performance, was awarded the 'Best New Band in The World Crown' by MTV IGGY.

2NE1 commented about how they felt about the performance "It felt great to see many people recognize us and know our name. Very happy and fun to realize we all can have great time despite the language barrior".

Jeremy Scott, worldly renowned fashion designer, showed big support by gladly letting them borrow his 2012 S/S collection wardrobe without hesitation, and showing up at the theater himself.

2NE1's performance was lively broadcasted on a screen located in the middle of New York Time Square, and also on internet watched by New Yorkers as well as global fans.

After having short and sweet meeting with New York fans, 2NE1 is scheduled to return to Korea on December 14th.
