Eminem Raps About Punching Lana Del Rey In The Face ‘Like Ray Rice’

Oh, Eminem. Really?

Rapper Eminem is no stranger to making controversial comments about female pop stars. His songs have been filled with insults about Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Britney Spears, just to name a few.

Now the 42-year-old star is taking aim at singer Lana Del Rey in the new music video for "SHADY CXVPHER."

In the music video, Eminem, also known as Marshall Mathers, unleashes a pretty disturbing freestyle that references a recent domestic violence scandal:

"But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? Bitch I'll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/'Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens."

In the song, which also features Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf, the rapper is referring to video footage that was posted by TMZ earlier this year that showed NFL star Ray Rice, of the Baltimore Ravens, as he pulled the unconscious body of his fiancée Janay out of an elevator.

The scandal caused quite a stir in the media and Rice was eventually suspended indefinitely from the NFL.

It's unclear why Eminem would use such a graphic case of violence in his song and what issue he has with Del Rey.

The "Young & Beautiful" songstress's friend Azealia Banks defended Del Rey on Twitter.

"But does Eminem know that I will personally punch him in his mouth?!" wrote Banks, also a rapper.

Del Rey has yet to respond to the rap. However, in 2012, she expressed her love for the Detroit rap star.

I f***ing love Eminem," she exclaimed at the time, praising the rapper's  "I found out music could be intelligent. He wasn't just rhyming for rhyme's sake," added Del Rey.
