Psy's Global Fame Exemplified on Jay Leno Show 'Mitt Romney Doing the Horse Riding Dance?'

Any doubts regarding Psy's popularity in the United States should all be forgotten.

In the NBC talk show "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", Psy's "Gangnam Style" was chosen as the concept for the comedic act.

Yesterday, Jay Leno congratulated Mitt Romney for the officially receiving the Republican presidential nomination. Jay Leno continued by mentioning Mitt Romney's attempt to appeal to the younger generations of voters and suggested what it would have been like if he entered the stage while doing the horse riding dance.

Quickly after Jay Leno's statement, the stage changed into the Tampa Bay Times Forum where the Republican National Convention took place. A dancer with Mitt Romney's face appears on stage while doing Psy's horse riding dance. The crowd goes crazy with laughter as the fake Mitt Romney keeps dancing.

Jay Leno states that if the presidential candidates did the horse riding dance from "Gangnam Style", they would be able to receive a significant more support from the younger generations of voters.

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" began in 1992 and temporarily stopped in 2009 then returned in 2010. "The Tonight Show" is one of the top three talk shows in the United States competing side by side with "Late Show with David Letterman" and Conan O'Brien.

On the 23rd of last month, Psy appeared on the VH1 morning show "Big Morning Buzz Live" and introduced himself to America. Also, NBC's "Chelsea Lately" featured a staff dance time where a group of staff performed the horse riding dance to Psy's "Gangnam Style".

Meanwhile, Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video has received over 84 million views in just 49 days on YouTube. The countdown for 1 billion views has begun.
