YG Brothers, Psy and G-Dragon "Main Leaders of K-Pop"

Singer Psy and idol group Big Bang's G-Dragon have both been completely taking over the music industry together.

On YouTube, Psy's music video for "Gangnam Style" has become an international hit with over 90 million views and G-Dragon's "One of a Kind" has been received over 10 million views already and "That XX" has received almost 3 million.

Psy's "Gangnam Style" surpassed the popularity level of the Girls' Generation's (SNSD) music video of "Gee" and set a record as the Korean artist whose music video has been viewed the most internationally.

The music video of "Gangnam Style" has been featured on CNN, NBC, WSJ, ABC, Huffington Post and more for its exciting beats and unique horse riding dance. Psy even appeared on a program in the United Sates to personally teach how to do the horse riding dance to the hosts of the show. In addition, a video clip of football players doing the horse riding dance after getting a touchdown has been uploaded, clearly showing the rapidly growing popularity of Psy's "Gangnam Style."

International stars like Robby Williams, Katy Perry, Anne Hathaway, Britney Spears and T-Pain have all expressed their excitement on their personal social networking sites after watching the music video of "Gangnam Style." As a result of the mentions on the stars' social networking sites, Psy's recognition and popularity has grown significantly.

The global fame that Psy has gained basically overnight is continued by his YG Entertainment brother, G-Dragon. G-Dragon's music video of "One of a Kind" has been released on September 25 and has received over 10 million views already on YouTube.

Also, G-Dragon's music video for "That XX", which was released September 1, received over 3.3 million views only 2 days after the date of its release. G-Dragon's power in the music industry is clearly exemplified by the number of views his music videos received from people located all over the globe.

G-Dragon is following the footsteps of Psy, who all-killed almost every single music chart in Korea. G-Dragon's "That XX" all-killed various music charts, including music sites like Melon and Mnet, as soon as it was released. G-Dragon's "That XX" is maintaining its place in the number 1 spot and continues to gain popularity.

The fact that G-Dragon is maintaining his number 1 spot in the music charts is even more meaningful and special because it is very unusual for a song that has adult content to even rise to the number 1 spot to begin with. However, regardless of the adult content in G-Dragon's new song "That XX", he is maintaining his place at the top.

One of the reasons why G-Dragon is expected to remain in the top is because of the fact that neither "One of a Kind" nor "That XX" is the title song for his solo album. G-Dragon's title song is expected to be a bigger hit and the anticipation for the rest of his album has reached a whole new level after he released the two songs.

Psy and G-Dragon, together, have already received over one billion views on YouTube. The record is only expected to increase as time goes by as the numbers of their fans continue to grow. Only time will tell what the YG brothers have in store for the future.
