Heejun Han, born in 1989, shocked viewers of American Idol Season 11 as one of the top 8 finalists with his excellent singing performance, and now was given a chance to be a judge.

On August 31, Heejun appeared on "2012 New York K-Pop Festival "at NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts as one of the judges together with Benjamin Meadows-Ingram, music editor of Billbaord and Donnie Kwak, senior editor of ESPN.

After performing a special song to celebrate and cheer for contestants, he shared his different experiences after his appearance on "American Idol" stating, "People stop me on the street to take a photo together. Also I don't need to wait for a line at place like Disneyland."

"I was really pleased to be able to find out what I can do for the community. I was also able to find what is inside of me throughout the competition on the show", said Han.

The MC asked Heejun about his experience of "American Idol," he mentioned that "Producer Jimmy Iovine said he's big fan of Big Bang. I didn't know about the group that much around that time," sharing growth of K-Pop's popularity.

MC asked him how Jennifer Lopez is, Heejun replied "She is good."
