‘Attack On Titan’ Marvel Crossover [UPDATE]: New Artwork Featuring Spider-Man, The Avengers And The Female Titan Revealed, Will Marvel Comics Schedule English Release?

More updates about the "attack on titan" marvel crossover were released today in the form of new artwork. Brutus Magazine, which will run the special crossover as well as interview with "Attack on Titan" creator Hajime Isayama. Although the crossover is definitely exciting for Japanese fans who will have direct access to the material, will Marvel sponsor an English version stateside?

Comic Book Resources recently reported on the "Attack on Titan" Marvel crossover, posting the newest scans of the artwork that will be released this weekend in Brutus Magazine. The new photos (which fans can view below) features Spider-Man smacking the Female Titan, and also what looks to be Black Widow and Captain America watching from the sidelines.

In the forum for the announcement, fans began to speculate which artist (who has yet to be officially announced) was responsible for drawing the crossover.

"The artist looks to be Pepe Laraz if I had to guess. If so... amazing choice. Love his work," commented CTG.

While some fans may have been initially put off by the idea, most comic book and manga fanatics alike are interested in seeing The Avengers take on the infamous 46-foot female titan in the streets of New York City. This is probably the ultimate dream of those comic book fans who are particularly obsessed with hypothetical fights between superheroes from different universes.

But the sad truth of the "Attack on Titan" Marvel crossover is that right now it is only confirmed for release in Japan. What are the chances that Marvel comics will also publish an English version? IGN speculates chances are high given how popular "Attack on Titan" is globally. Also, there's no question of the kind of "Avengers" fandom that exists globally. It seems that Marvel would definitely want to take advantage of that opportunity.

The "Attack on Titan" Marvel crossover is set to hit stands in Japan in the latest issue of Brutus Magazine on November 15.
