According to the TV Guide synopsis of "Dyin' On A Prayer," Episode 4 of Season 4 (S04E04), "Nick and Hank investigate a case involving clay-induced asphyxiation; Wu's suspicions about Trubel intensify; Elizabeth makes a major breakthrough in the pursuit of restoring Nick's powers; Monroe and Rosalee's inter-Wesen marriage sparks a cultural backlash; and Adalind hopes her mysterious visitor will help her escape the dungeon."

What should we look forward to for tonight's episode and the rest of the new season? Warning: spoilers ahead!

According to the International Business Times, "Claire Coffee thinks her character Adalind has changed a lot, and it's for an understandable reason. The actress also talks about the Hexenbiest "hierarchy." Meanwhile, viewers are getting curious about the Wesen FBI Special Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez). Nick (David Giuntoli) remains un-grimmed, but someone will make "a major breakthrough with regards to restoring Nick's powers," says the NBC press release on this week's new episode. Louise Lombard returns as Elizabeth in Grimm Season 4, Episode 4. "Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) experience cultural backlash as a result of their inter-Wesen marriage," notes the NBC release, hinting at some bigger challenges to the couple, whom Nick couldn't help unless he becomes a real Grimm again. Claire Coffee also talks about Adalind's connection to Nick after the spell she has cast on him. "It links them in a way that's going to be explosive come Episode 8. It resolves itself in quite a treacherous way and it has massive implications for a couple of the characters," Coffee told TV Line in an interview. Coffee also told TV Line Captain Renard's (Sasha Roiz) mother, Elizabeth, is "pretty high up there on the mean girls, Hexenbiest food chain." More of this is expected to be seen in Grimm Season 4, Episode 4. "It seems that in the Hexenbiest community, they're a very gossipy bunch. Everybody knows about everybody else. So everybody's aware of everyone else's station on the playground and their hierarchy." Coffee also shares her thoughts on Adalind's "desperation," which the character has been showing more in Grimm Season 4. The actress explains Adalind's fear-driven decisions stems from being a mom. Adalind is someone who "never had anything to lose before," and now she does not even know where her baby is."

"A lot of weird murders happen in Portland, at least according to Grimm. For example, "clay-induced asphyxiation" isn't a cause of death you hear about on the news every day. But that's apparently what killed the victim of Nick and the gang's latest investigation, and based on the following sneak peek from Friday's upcoming episode, "Dyin' on a Prayer," it sounds like a golem might've had something to do with it. There's no word yet on whether Nick will be getting his powers back this week or whether, based on the episode title, anyone will be singing Bon Jovi. However, according to the official synopsis, Elizabeth will make a major breakthrough with regard to restoring Nick's powers, so perhaps he's already halfway there on his road to recovery. Also on the docket: MonRosalee will struggle with some cultural backlash due to their their inter-Wesen marriage (booo), and in Europe, Adalind will keep working on escaping that dungeon. Should be an interesting week!" explains TV.com.
