Kim Hyun Joong Beats Super Junior-TVXQ and Ranks Best Album Sales in Japan

Kim Hyun Joong's Japan single album, HEAT, has still been heating up the charts in Japan.

According to the Oricon Charts, Kim Hyun Joong's album, HEAT, which was released in July, has held a record of 200,580 album sales. He has beaten the record for any K-Pop artist by breaking the 200,000 mark.

On the first day of its release, it sold over 130,800 albums. He also ranked number 1 on the Oricon Daily Chart. Afterwards, he ranked number 1 on the weekly chart and number 3 on the monthly chart and sold over 200,000 albums.

He has beat Super Junior with 184,000 and TVXQ with 175,000.

An official commented, "Kim Hyun Joong is doing surprisingly well here in the Japanese market."

Kim Hyun Joong is currently filming for his new drama, "City Conquest."
