Another new episode of the "Sailor Moon" reboot "Sailor Moon Crystal" was released today in Japan and simulcast for fans elsewhere via Viz Media outlets. Fans without subscriptions can find places to watch "Sailor Moon Crystal" episode 10 below. This week's episode entitled "Act. 10 Moon" features more details about the previous lives of the scouts as well as some heartbreaking imagery of anime couple Usagi and Mamoru.

Synopsis:

The episode begins with the inner scouts Ami, Minako, Rei, Makoto discussing plans to go to the moon. They notice that Usagi, who is distracted by video games at the arcade, seems to be feeling better since her sadness over Mamoru's capture. After making plans to meet up on the full moon, Usagi returns home to find that her earth father has purchased a setting and necklace for the Legendary silver crystal. Usagi drops the bomb that it was a gift from her boyfriend before going to fight with her little brother over her portable gaming console.

The night of the full moon arrives and the scouts meet in the park to use Sailor Planet teleport to get to the Moon. Usagi recalls her promise to trade watches with Mamoru there before joining in the journey to the Moon. Once on the moon, more exposition is revealed about the girls' past lives, including a sad moment in which Mamoru sacrificed himself for Usagi before she kills herself in grief over his death. All of the exposition is revealed in the form of a hologram of Queen Serenity.

The girls return to the Earth as it is attacked by Jadeite, Zoisite, Kunzite, and Nephrite. The inner scouts struggly against them until Sailor Venus announces that the men should remember who they really are - protectors of Prince Endymion and the Earth. They continue to attack until Sailor Moon uses her new moon stick to end the darkness covering the Earth. The soldiers escape at the last minute.

The final sequence involves Queen Beryl brainwashing Mamoru in order to make him kill Usagi and take the legendary silver crystal.
