Novak Djokovic has done it again!

The 27-year-old Serbian tennis play has won title of ATP World Tour Finals champion for the fourth time after Roger Federer withdrew due to a back injury. Djokovic is the first player to win the title three times in a row since Ivan Lendl completed the same feat between the years of 1985-1987.

The only other player to win three consecutive ATP World Tour titles was Ilie Nastase from 1971-1973.

Djokovic was scheduled to play World. No. 2 Roger Federer on Sunday (Nov. 16) before the tennis legend was forced to withdraw. The final was set to be played at London's O2 arena.

Djokovic, who now has a 14-match winning streak at the end-of-year tournament, proudly raised his trophy in front of the assembled crowd on Sunday, sending well wishes to Federer.

"We always give 100 per cent," said Djokovic. "I'm sure that if he could've played, he would've done. So I wish him the best in his recovery.

"I'm not one of those players that celebrates these particular wins, but I have to reflect on the whole season," he added. "This trophy is definitely the crown for all the achievements that I had this year. I owe the credit to my team, to all the people who supported me all the way through, and plenty of joy. I'm very happy to be able to stand here and finish with this trophy."

It certainly has been a great year for Novak. The tennis star will end the season ranked World No. 1 and with a 61-8 match record.

He won the Wimbledon championship this summer and seven titles from eleven final matches throughout the season.  

Novak also welcomed his first child, a son named Stefan, with wife Jelena just last month.
