On December 13, Sandara from 2NE1 posted the message "Thank you Blackjacks. Love you. Mwah mwah mwah" along with a picture of her wearing the 2011 MTV Iggy's Best New Band in the World crown (see above). 

The gold crown has the tops of three guitars and the title "Best New Band 2011" emblazoned on it. Sandara gives two thumbs up in the picture, proud and happy to have had the honor of representing their music and South Korea. 

Viewers of the photograph have left a range of comments, such as "Now that you're wearing the crown, does that make you the queen?" and "What a unique crown. It leaves room for the palm tree hair style to stick out."
