Liam Hemsworth Dishes On Diet And Staying In Killer Shape For ‘The Hunger Games’

Being an actor in a mega-popular film franchise can have a few drawbacks.

Liam Hemsworth, who stars as Gale in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1," recently dished on restricting his diet in order to stay in shape for the silver screen. And while it doesn't sound very fun, there's no doubt his legions of adoring fans are appreciative.

"I would love to just eat pizza for the rest of my life [and] burgers," Hemsworth told E! News at the Los Angeles premiere of "Mockingjay-Part 1" on Monday night, agreeing with an interviewer that he can't wait for the day when he won't have to worry about staying in stellar shape for the next "Hunger Games" movie.

"I do it anyway. I don't let it stop me," added the 24-year-old actor with a laugh.

So what about Hemsworth's co-stars?

Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the film franchise, admits that he hasn't worried too much about sticking to a diet lately.

"I've been vegging out and chilling for a while now," Hutcherson told E!

Sam Claflin, who shows off his fantastic physique as Finnick in the "Hunger Games" films, revealed that he has also taken time off from the rigorous movie prep regime recently.

"I'm on a little bit of a break, a little downtime," said Claflin at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, according to E! News. "I'm enjoying myself, everything that I've missed over the two and a half years nearly. I'm kind of catching up. Lots of friends, family and drinks to be ordered."

"I'm living very happily and comfortably and there is no one telling me what to do other than myself and I'm telling myself to have more fun," added the star.
