SBS MTV 'The Show' Highlights: Zhoumi Wins His First Trophy + Performance Recaps From The November 18th Episode

SBS MTV 'The Show' featured awesome performances from some of your favorite K-Pop idols.

The stars who made their comeback were Lovelyz with "Candy Jelly Love" and MAMAMOO with "Piano Man."

Super Junior M member Zhoumi won his first trophy on the music show for his single titled, "Rewind." Zhoumi expressed his emotion and posted an update on his Weibo profile.

Zhoumi wrote, "I really didn’t expect that as a Chinese, I could receive #1 from Korea’s music show The Show! I was so excited about it that I didn’t say my thank you speech… Thank you everyone for supporting my new song “Rewind”. Many things that have happened recently are like a dream, thank you Chinese fans for your support! It is all thanks to you guys that I got my first #1 in my life in Korea. I will continue working hard in Korea and make everyone proud! I love you all! Thank you." 

Next week, T-ara is making their comeback on the music shows.

Performance Recaps


While the music video is not released until the 21st, rookie female group MAMAMOO made their comeback on 'The Show' yesterday.

The ladies dressed classy as they wore gold colored raincoats for their performance. MAMAMOO sang their new single titled, "Piano Man."


Lovelyz performed two of their singles on 'The Show' yesterday. The members looked cute as they sang "Goodbye Like Yesterday" for their first performance. Jung Yein bumped into Baby Soul; which is a rookie mistake.

Then the girls wore school outfits for their second performance; which was their main single titled, "Candy Jelly Love." There were a lot of male fan chants heard on both of their performances yesterday. Lovelyz are doing a great job with promotions as they start a new week.

Hello Venus

Hello Venus sang their sexy concept single titled, "Sticky Sticky" yesterday. Hello Venus has a lot of fan boys because they were chanting and screaming yesterday.

Yeoreum kept her composure as she tripped on the stage prop again. Other than the slight trip, the ladies performed great.


Super Junior M member Zhoumi sang his solo single titled, "Rewind." His hard work paid off as he won his first trophy yesterday.

Zhoumi sang the Chinese version of the song. There was no rap part for Zhoumi's performance yesterday.

Yoon Hyun Sang

Yoon Hyun Sang sang his great ballad single titled, "Always Be With You" on the music show yesterday. His showed his skill with the piano as he sang with his soft tempo voice.

The song is a beautiful love single regarding a person who will always be with his loved one.


LABOUM moved like dolls as they sang their new single titled, "What About You" yesterday. LABOUM has lots of male fans because fan chants were heard while the members performed.

One person named Mechanical Angel commented, "the best girls song of the month!" Do you agree that LABOUM is the best girls group for this month?


New duo group Almeng sang their second single titled, "Half An Hour" on 'The Show' yesterday. Almeng is a group to pay attention to as they have amazing vocals. The audience enjoyed their performance.

Topp Dogg

Topp Dogg went old school as they sang their new single titled, "Annie" on the music show yesterday.

The guys received many fan chants as they performed with lots of energy on 'The Show.' The members wore bright colored outfits for their performance.


Natthew sang his new single titled, "Love Will Be Ok" on 'The Show' yesterday. Son Ho Young is featured on stage with Natthew; which both sing and entertain the audience.

Natthew did a lot of smiling at the camera while he was performing yesterday.


B.I.G - Boys In Groove said "Are You Ready" as they performed with lots of energy and did a great job of entertaining the audience. Their performance was cut to less than three minutes long. Though the females in the audience enjoyed their performance.

The Boss

The Boss who are known as DGNA performed with fierceness as they sang their new single titled, "Rilla Go" yesterday. The audience enjoyed their performance and screamed at the end.


HALO said "Come On Now" as they danced smoothly and entertained the audience yesterday. HALO is a new male group; which the audience enjoyed watching their performance yesterday.


HOTSHOT said "Take A Shot" as they had a full performance on 'The Show' yesterday. HOTSHOT are performing with lots of energy on the music programs each week. Female screams from the audience were heard while the guys performed yesterday.

Boys Republic and ALi also performed on 'The Show' yesterday.

Fans Worry About IU's Health Condition After Seeing Photos On Instagram

Recently, the songstress uploaded a picture of her standing next to a tarp of herself, which is beside a food truck that was sent to her filming set. Uaena, IU's official fan club name, remarked that her collarbone is somewhat more pronounced than before and her face looked smaller. Also, in the latest photo of her together with Sulli that the latter uploaded through her official Instagram account, the fans noticed that she looked much skinnier than usual and so they expressed their concern over her condition.

X1, ‘Produce X 101’ Project Group, Hits Billboard’s Social 50 and Emerging Artist Charts

Even before their official debut arrives, 11-member K-pop group X1 is already making ripples in the scene!
