ET/PT on Comedy Central. There are illegal goings-on in the basement of City Wok in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled "Cock Magic"...Kenny excels at playing the game, Magic: The Gathering. He has the boys' full attention until a new, hard-core activity gets in the way. When Wendy tries to get Stan to pay attention to what she's doing, she realizes that what he does with his guy friends always comes first."

According to Fashion & Style, "Although episode 8 is going by the seemingly shocking title "Cock Magic," with the news that there is an illegal activity going on in the basement of the Chinese restaurant City Wok, it's probably safe to assume that the title is referring to chicken fighting of some sort. Based on the photo...from episode 8, Kenny will get into some sort of altercation with the police. As far as how that comes about from playing the card game "Magic: The Gathering" is anyone's guess. The newest episode of "South Park," "Cock Magic," airs this Wednesday, November 19th at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central."

According to the Examiner, "This isn't the first time Magic: The Gathering has made a cameo with South Park characters. South Park, which has been running since Aug. 13, 1997, paid host to a Magic: The Gathering "bumper" advertisement back when the show made its original debut. After Kyle says the plug for Magic: The Gathering, Kenny makes fun of the game (watch the ad in the attached video). In fact, according to Mark Rosewater's tumblr, "Magic The Gathering was the very first sponsor of South Park. If you ever get to see any of the bumpers, listen to Kenny. He's making fun of the game." We're interested to see how the creators of the show display the game. Will it be in a negative or positive light? Nearly two decades ago the show's creators were against the advertisement for Magic: The Gathering. Has their opinions of the game changed? South Park is currently in season 18, and Magic: The Gathering is now over 20 years old."
