IU opened up about why her face has changed since debut.

On KBS 2TV "Win Win" which aired on the 13th, when asked about rumored plastic surgery IU answered "I really did have changed since my debut". IU made her debut as a 8th grader in junior high.

IU stated "at the time I wore very little make up" and "I grew about 1.8 cm and lost 10kg".

Contining IU stated "when I was young I was often told that I was pretty. As I grew up I got ugly" and "that's when I made by debut so when I see my pictures from then I did change a lot", explaing the situation.

IU added "I do think I got prettier since debut"
