Kim Hyun Joong's plan to comeback in starring in a drama has failed to fall through.

Kim Hyun Joong who has been contemplating playing a role in the drama 'Speed' (written by Ma Jin Won and produced by Yang Yoon Ho) after receiving a call, has declined the offer.

Kim Hyun Joong's entertainment spokesperson stated "we contemplated, but in the end decided to turn it down"

After starring in the MBC Drama 'Playful Kiss' which aired beginning of 2010, Kim Hyun Joong has been focusing on his role as a singer.

Before this Kim Hyun Joong stated in the 2011 MAMA press conference "Because I just got casted in a drama I decided to push the world tour till the end of next year. Please look forward to my activities" and "you'll be able to see me acting by April, I wasn't able to make an offical announcement but international fans will also be able to see my acting".

On the other hand 'Speed' is blockbuster drama about car racing. It is drawing the attention of many because producer Yang Yoon Ho, who produced the movie 'Wind's fighter' and KBS 2TV Drama 'Iris' will be handling the production of this drama.
